WILD CARD ENTRIES

All Entries must be completed & uploaded onto The Call Back website by 8pm on December 7th – no exceptions.

The Wild Card Finalist will be announced on Monday December 10th on The Call Back Website, Twitter and Facebook page.

STEP ONE:

Put yourself on camera answering the following questions: The video must not be more than 2 minutes long. Please make sure that we see a close up of your whole face.

Question 1

Is there anything that scares you about the industry and becoming famous one day?

Question 2

What makes you a better contestant for The Call Back and what can you bring to the industry?

(I.E Why should you be chosen for The Call Back, rather than next contestant? Tell the Call Back Judges “what” makes you better and why should they choose you?)

STEP TWO:

Re-Register on The Call Back Website.

When Re-Registering, You MUST NOT use your old account details – as this will delete your old video – and you will not be able to create a new account..

Instead please do the following:-

“Everyone” must shorten or expand their first name.

(I.E Victoria Murphy. Changes to Vicky Murphy, Or Vic Murphy.)

I can't upload my video, what am I doing wrong?

If you are experiencing stalling, crashing, or failing uploads, please follow the steps below to improve your chances of success.

The most reliable way to upload a video is by using a browser equipped with the most up-to-date technology. The listed browsers are consistently the most successful at uploading video.
- Google Chrome can reliably upload files up to 20GB,
- Firefox 4 or higher can reliably upload files up to 20GB,
- Internet Explorer with Silverlight enabled can upload files up to 20GB,
You should use a Chrome incognito window or Firefox Private Browse. This will temporarily exclude the use of browser extensions, which may interfere with upload process. Ad blocking extensions, for instance, are commonly responsible for these problems.
You should temporarily disable anti-spyware, anti-virus, or similar software. These programs are also known to interfere with uploading.
You may also benefit from plugging your computer directly into your modem with an ethernet cable, rather than connecting wirelessly through a router.

Can you explain the age rules, I'm 7 but really want to take part?

This competition is aimed at 8-14 year olds. As long as you are no older than 14 and no younger than 8 by the 31st December 2012 you can take part.

I can sing and dance but I can't act, can I still be a contestant?

Absolutely, you might just surprise yourself. This competition is open to anyone who feels they have enough talent to succeed. Believe in yourself and we will too.

I don't live in London, can I still take part?

Yes, but all travel expenses to London for the finalists and their guardians need to be covered by the contestants so you do need to get your parents/guardians to read the rules and regulations!

I can't decide on what song or film to perform?

Choose something that you love, something you are comfortable with. There are no wrongs or rights in the material you choose, just enjoy performing them.

I'm not sure how the voting works, how can my friends/family find my audition and vote for me?

Each contestant after registering and uploading their video, will have their very own contestant ID and URL. You can copy and paste your URL, which will lead all your fans to your very own youtube contestant's page. Friends can also search for you on the "latest Video" page with your Call Back ID number!
